Emilio Pucci- my second vintage blue square watch...

I picked this up this Emilio Pucci today, it's my second vintage blue square shaped watch from an unknown maker. I like everything about this watch, and the band with it's three prong clip can be adjusted to any size- this is a truly superior band fitted to a very inexpensive timepiece...

I couldn't find out information on this watch, but that's fine because I really like it...

Lastly, this the first time I bought a watch off the owner's wrist. I was trading some old quartz watches with a dealer; He was wearing this blue watch, and I had to have it...

Wow - that's a cool story. And a very striking watch.

Fashion isn't my thing, but I presume its this guy:

I did not read the thread but I know of Pucci. My mother was a Pucci freak. I remember as a boy visiting The Pucci store in Rome ( either there or Florence). Mom had to have her fix. To be truthful, they are beautiful clothes in pretty wild colors but simple in design. At least what my Mom wore. That watch is great! Very Pucci. Thanks for showing it and dredging up old memories.
Woah! I just read that Wikipedia article.... I think my Mom, if she had known he was an Italian Fascist would not have worn his clothes. I know, I know its hard to separate art from politics. And past transgressions can be forgiven. Do I ever wonder why I wear watches made under Stalins regime. Sure. But they are pieces of a unique time and place, so I tell myself. Sorry to go so off point. Please forgive my transgression. And again...cool watch!.

That is a very striking dial, indeed! Gorgeous find!

I would like to know what that dial is made of. It appears like it might be fabric...cotton or canvas?

    Rare gem....congrats!

Thanks for input guys. To answer your question Omar, the dial sure looks like fabric, but I can't tell which type. I bought both blue square watches from a dealer at the Kobey's swapmeet in San Diego....!
