FAKE or REAL IWC movement/dial or a Franken scam?

I saw this converted IWC pocket watch for sale on ebay from
    Vicom09 from Poland.
I love the look of it but have done some research and it seems
many Eastern European sources are using old standard pocket
watch movements and engraving the movements with luxury brand
names like IWC, Patek, etc. They also print the luxury brand name on the dial.
BUT...these are NOT real brand movements or dials.
SO...I wonder if anyone has an opinion whether THIS watch (listed for $1849.USD)
is a REAL IWC movement and real IWC dial, as claimed by the seller.

Thank you all for any assistance.

I'm not an expert on IWC pocket watches, but this looks plausible to me, the movement has nice perlage on the bottom plate, anglage on the top plates, and gold chatons, which is consistent with a nice movement. The custom made case that retains the crown at the 12 o'clock location also suggests that the dial might be original to the watch as well.

Thank you mleok...I appreciate your assistance. If it is real, does the $1849.USD price seem reasonable to you?

Moving this one to our Vintage and Pocket watches forum as I think the guys there are more likely to be able to help.

re-cased pocket watch movement probably at 50mm+ without being equipped properly to be worn on a wrist is already a big NO for me without going into the movement details. For that amount of money you can get a classy '50s, '60s, IWC dress watch which has left the factory as a wrist-watch.Why to settle for something which pretends to be....

Movement seems 100% IWC - pocket watch.
Dial, I think is re-worked. May have been original, or may be completely new.
    Case and crown modern

I am with Emre on the sentiment of these 'frankens'

    Fake.

That looks like a new barrel bridge.

Not entirely convinced. The dial appears to be a re-finish. For that sort of money I would stay well away. You can comfortably pick up a nice 50's or 60's IWC dress watch, and with a bit of looking probably a Jaeger LeCoultre simple dress watch.

As already said, it's unlikely that the movement will cope well with being worn as a wristwatch.

Wel its surely a 'franken' that we know.
    Is a 'franken' a 'fake'?

The dial will be a new reworked dial. I would expect the original watch had an enamel dial, this looks metal.

I think all we can truly say is the movement 'was/is' an IWC movement.

@BOBBEE - I see you edited (reduced) your post, any reason?
