Probably a Franken IWC, the pics are too bad to make a call on the Rolex, but the company it keeps does not bode well...

Good luck - but if you are being serious 'hoping' is a hard way to acquire a vintage watch, where this hobby is pretty fraught with pitfalls, SDA

I have never seen both IWC logos (the full name and the contemporary IWC logo above that) appear on any IWC Schaffhausen. My gut feeling tells me that it's better to stay away from this listing.

I fully agree! Would anybody take a picture of a real Rolex and put it alongside a Franken?

I was thinking the same thing. No point splashing money.

Re: Fake or real Iwc and Rolex?

Just based on the crappy photo I would stay away. I know I'm biased because I enjoy the art of photography, but is it too far a stretch to think that somebody that would own $10,000- ish worth of watches would have such a crappy camera?

Also, maybe because of the junque imagery, but to my eyes there is always a very distinct visual difference between the metalwork of a true high-end watch and pretty much anything else. You take even a modest Rolex and place it next to a fake, the difference is instantly apparent. Cheap metal looks like it, and expensive metal has a refinement and quality that is not fake-able.

Even going by the extremely bad picture, I would say that the Rolex is even less genuine than the IWC. The case looks trashy (very shiny and polished, removing the clarity of the ridges on the bezel), the hands look too thin, the logo looks awful (crown looks as if the points are longer on one side than the other).....
