Finished my Bulova franken watch
A year or so ago I got a bunch of random NOS watch stuff in a lot. One of them was this Bulova case, band, dial, hands and crown. Everything but the movement. I just happen to get this nice 30 jewel Bulova movement in a lot of junk so I serviced it and went to install it in the case but the dial feet were wrong. It took me a long time to get everything to work right but I moved the feet with epoxy and put it back together this morning. Came out pretty good and it does not have that "30 jewels SELFWINDING" so gaudy on the dial like those Bulovas almost always have. It is interesting the case still has the original brushed texture on the sides. I will enjoy this watch for a long long time!
