    What a FANTASTIC piece
Two of the GREATEST complication - Perpetual Calendar (programmed mechanically for 28/29/30 or 31 day months until 2100 - when we don't follow the leap year cycle)
    PLUS
a Minute Repeater of high quality (that spinning X is a governer) I will find the name of the patent manufacturer if I can and post back.
AND I believe a flyback Chronograph

Can you give me the number below the Brevet sign +

MAGNIFICENT piece and a chronometer too.

I have nothing on 'FIX Watch Co' But watch seems to be made for Spanish Market (days and January in Spanish) and the logo 'El Trust Madrid' interests me. I think that was a group of people

Here is yours sold Nov 2012 - I knew it was a MAGNIFICENT piece:

Here is another 42 serial number less than yours circa 1890:

    WOW!!
    Thanks for posting

We are seeing some magnificent watches lately and this is one of them... many thanks for posting and sharing with us.
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

As I said, the watch isn't mine, but I'll ask for that complete number.

Could it be a Le Phare?

That was my first thought too when I saw the governer. This one here is quite similar in many ways:

bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Le Phare OVC

However, my knowledge on repeaters is patchy and I would presume that others used this governer device as well. It would be interesting to know what the patent is for and who it was granted to.

Not too late, but I could not find anything related?
