    Flea Market find: Edox dress watch

    I picked up this old 1970s Edox this morning. It's in very good condition, with no wear to the gold-plated case (there are a few light scratches that I can forgive), the dial's pristine, and it's a nice size, 35 x 27 mm. The only thing I dislike is the movement size, where they've been a bit tight:






    It even has the original signed crown, which is nice:

    That is in sweet condition.

    I agree about the movement - quite a lot of ladies movements were put into men's watches in the 70's as Swiss makers struggled to compete with quartz watches. But its out of sight most of the time - so no real worries.
