    Happy to hear that

Here I go again. NOS would be 'new old stock', which would indicate an old unused crown with a disintegrated gasket. But surely a good watchmaker will have used a brand new correct crown. Sorry for being so anal

    Kind regards

This watch was designed to be worn daily, without any doubt.

    Really, wear and enjoy

If you bought it because you love it, wear it. If you are a dealer who is looking to make a profit, sell it. All of my watches, including the ones I thought i would never own, I wear. The biggest dilemna is what to wear, when. And one of the biggest pleasures is when someone who knows watches and horology asks about your watch and pays you a compliment. So enjoy your watch, and search for the next grail.

Could I have a Ferrari in the garage and let it sit stagnant day after day? Nope.

In the same vein... Enjoy it. Life is short, and watches (after all) are just material possessions.

+1...Three of the saddest things in the world - 1) classic cars that never see the road, 2) watches that never see the wrist and, 3) puppies without someone to play with.

    Wear it...a lot.

Re: Found My Holy grail at last!

thank you all guys for the kind words! i've been wearing it all day, just can not take it off:) as i will never sell this piece again, I will wear it. It's indeed nice it actually stayed in Belgium it's entire life. it would be a shame to put it in my safe and just look at it sometimes, this watch indeed deserves more than that. On
to the next holy grail it is:) just don't have an idea yet (i'm still in shock i actually, finally have this one :D ) maybe a vintage Navitimer :)
