    French Waltham

Just got this Waltham vintage and I thought I'd show it off! I believe it's a 7 jewel model. Telling good time now and in virtual NOS condition and got it for $15.00 on ebay. It came with the original suede band and old time plastic box. Kinda fun and I really like watches with the sub seconds. Thanks for looking!!

Dan, I think the one for 600 bucks plus is a real joke!! I wish that was the true value, but let's face it, that guy is dreaming! I'm not sure whether I'll get it serviced yet, I"ll probably wait for a while--thanks for the compliment!

Very nice. I like the subdials too it makes the watch a bit thinner and sit on the wrist nicely. Good find and deal.

    Lorsa 238

I've got something simlar with a Lorsa 238 in it. The back of the lugs are finished poorly and the plating is quite thin, but it is 35mm in diameter and not too thick. Yours looks pretty cherry and I like the dial color, but these are not "fine" watches. e

Yes enough, I know they are certainly not expensive watches--7 jewels, and obviously built with economy in mind. But hey, I never had a seven jewel watch before!! Or a FRENCH watch!!
