Strange. Usually the caliber number is engraved right on the GP movement.

Even without knowing the size of the watch, I have a strong suspicion that this is a recased pocket watch movement and dial (crown at 12.00, right?!). The bottom line is that it might be from any time last century but in that state, it's from ca. 2015!
I would not be surprised if the "GIRARAD PERREGAUX" is a current addition
Also the micro-regulator looks like new addition too, it blocks the balance screw...

the watch is recased, that is true, but dial and movement were bought without the case, dial is original, porcelain, micro regulateur does not blok the balance screw, it is close but ok
and I can find more of the same movements signed as girrard, on ebay there are two pieces, so should be an original :)

why does most of the parts (made of different materials) look like they've been spray painted? Cut wheels shouldn't be the exact same color/ texture as a mainplate and bridges
