The GP 440 is the same as the Adolf Schild Cal. AS 1920 with a special fine adjustment:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Girard-Perregaux 440 (AS 1920)

As such, it is solid and decent but not excessively special. The sort of watch it is better to keep and use than to sell and try to make cash out of.

    What is your criteria?

    accuracy?

    aesthetics?

    complications?

    ease of service?

    impact resistance?

    impulse strength?

    length of service cycle?

    parts availablity?

    power reserve?

    wear resistance?
