    Girard- Perraguex HF Chronometer

    Hi all!
    It's been a while since I posted
Would like to share with you this piece of joy
Sadly I did not manage to take any pictures of the movement and rarely see this sort of Girard Perraguex in this shape !
I would like to know the possibility of the movement of this watch could be and is this watch rare?

You're right, they are not very common. The movement is a common development of Zenith, GP and Zodiac and couple of others. It should be a GP 32A:

    Nice watch, btw, interesting case.

You wont see many HF Chronometers come up for sale. It's a beautiful watch with a beautiful movement.

    Hi guys!
    was abit worried there
been looking around for more info on this watch but it's really scarce.
Plus I need to know whether what i bought is authentic. Thanks again for the info!
    32 A can't it be a 42movement?
I feel silly for not taking a picture inside when I had the chance.

GP Caliber 42? Where did You find that? I am not saying, that Dr. Ranffts database is complete (which is not the case, but almost), but I don't think too many movements with 36000 bph were built at all. You might want to check out this page with a lot of info on these high speed beaters:

They might be happy, if You can provide them with pictures of the movement.

Without seeing the movement You'll never be able to tell if it is authentic. But it doesn't look like a fake or frankenwatch.

Precisely, I am still kicking myself in the arse for not writing the cakiber and serial number down.

Wow, that's interesting. Anyways, the lack of information only proves how rare these watches and movements are.
