I'm sorry but there is almost nothing about that watch that's legitimate. GP and Ferrari did have an "association" in the 1990s (perhaps even a little before that) and going beyond the year 2000 but GP "pour Ferrari" watches didn't have such hideous red dials (some of them did have yellow ones). This watch is too old for the association so that bit is definitely fake. On top of that, the movement (an Adolf Schild Cal. 1130, admittedly used by GP) has clearly been cobbled together as shown by the different gold shading of the geartrain bridge as opposed to the rest of the movement. Please run away from this one.

Ughhhhh seen so many of these horrible fakes popping up lately. During the period when GP started making their Ferrari watches, the quality was of a much higher calibre i believe

The engraving on the barrel wheel gives the movement away, the engraving on back case gives the case away, and the dial - well

    Fake

That one is around for a while, reduced from 30,000 Rand to a mere 6,900 Rand (US$ 550,-- if I am not mistaken). Has the price meanwhile been lowered again? The only thing that is true for that watch is the 'Limited Edition' - limited to a few fakes perhaps. The guys have a South African domain for their website, but no one knows where they are located. They sell Luxury watches in the highest bracket and don't even properly identify themselves.

They don't even mention their location on their facebook 'fan page', but why should they when they have that slogan: 'We believe that trust matters and our business is based on trust.'

You are located in South Africa. Any idea where the company is located there? They are using a SA-domain without a minimum of information about the company, not to speak of a location. Any used car dealer would show a better business behavior. Looking at their watches, I can understand that they are not interested in disclosing who and where they are.

No his price is still R6900 ($572) he is in a town called Potchestroom 100 miles from Johannesburg. Silver Trust is his company name, I bought a Rolex Oyster from him was in mint condition.
