Gold cushion case Bakers of Wigan

Picked this up at the weekend browsing the stalls at a local fair.
    9ct gold hallmarked London 1931
    Bakers Wigan
    English Made
    19 Jewels

Anyone know who made the movement?
Doen't have a pull out crown to adjust the time
you depress this little button on the side (pin set)

Its was overwound, but with a little tinkering, its been
running like a champ for 24 hours spot on to the minute

    Any info greatfully recieved!

That is wonderful. Very rare to find a 19 jewel watch of that age. A quick google suggests that the Bakers in question was probably 'Bakers Jewel Casket' of Wigan which is now a branch of Goldsmiths.

Hopefully someone can say something about the movement.

    Thanks Marrick,

I assumed it was a dealers name on the dial, yes 19 jewels and pin set is unusual, couldnt see it on Dr Ranfft's site, I dont think there were any UK bulk movement makers going in the 30's....Anglo Welsh came later. I'm assuming its a German/Swiss import cased up in UK
