    Gotham Aquaking

Not sure what makes this Gotham an "Aquaking" lol but it's a pretty nice watch! I picked this up for the hefty price of $12. Cleaned it and gave it a new crystal. It has an AS 1702/03 movement. I like the "no date" look.

I'm not familiar with this movement but I am guessing this would be late 1950s?

That is very nice - such a clean dial.

I think you're probably right with the date - late 50's early 60's. Congratulations Ron.

Found the pic of it before you cleaned it up. Did a stellar job! Great watch for 12 bucks.

Thanks! Outside of cleaning the movement, I pretty much just replaced the crystal and buffed up the case. I did a search for AS 1702/03 movements and most of them that I saw has 21 jewels. Some were not copper colored too.

Copper? Roségold plated. Very nice watch in great condition, I also believe in end of 1950s.
Not many of those AS 1702 had 21 jewels from my observation - Rados had.
    Best regards, Mike
