    Grampís Pocket Watch

My grandad past away about a month ago and I am the humble recipient of his pocket watch. From what I can tell, itís a Waltham Model 1894, grade 225. As far as the case and dial, I know nothing. It runs well. I will try to find a repair shop to give it a good clean and oil, but besides that, I think Iím going to just enjoy it

Very nice, with a lot of sentimental value, enjoy it.

Pieces being passed down to someone who enjoys it is always great. Keep it serviced and you will be handing it on some day as they will and them after that.

We are but caretakers of watches as they will out live us. We are just looking after them for the next caretaker so enjoy them and know you play an important part in the history of the watch.

I love things that were designed to last generations. Watches, clocks, firearms, certain clothing items, knives, razors, pens - all timeless items that last multiple generations when well cared for.
