Gruen 1945+? RR watch that is not.

Unfamiliar with this 395 model 16 size. Movement by Schild. Stable alloy shock mount balance. Unadjusted. Not lever set. No serial number. Nice dial and movement looks good. I assume not seriously intended for r.r. use? Marked Precision and probably accurate enough for 1 minute a week r.r. accuracy. Strange product for Gruen that sold very few of their fine p.w. to railroads.

I have not noticed the shock mounts like Incabloc in any American RR 16 size p.w. as in this Swiss. Not considered an advantage in large sizes?Name: IMG_0646ax.jpg
