    I have a 992B, the face looks the same as yours with the exception is it has Railway Special written under Hamilton.

    That's a number 10 case and the watch was made in 1943. The 992B was introduced at the end of 1940. Great watch

    were all the 992s lever set except the 4992b?

    All railroad grade watches were specified to be lever set. The 4992B was a military watch (hackable) so was stem set.
