    Hamilton Estoril 300

    Hi
I have a Hamilton automatic Estoril 300 which I believe dates back to the 60’s. Can anyone tell me if this watch has any radium?
When I shine UV light on it, the lume on hour/minute hands shines, and then lasts for a few seconds after removing the UV light.
    Thanks for your help

That should be late enough (mid 60s or later) that there shouldn't be any radium, but not guaranteed. However, there doesn't appear to be any lume on the dial so if there is any radium it would only be the very small amount on the hands, which looks intact in the photos.
    Cool watch!

    Thanks!
Yes, there’s only lume on the hands and it’s intact.
For watches manufactured in the 60’s such as this one, were they required to put the letter ‘R’ somewhere on the dial if radium was used?
