I retrieved this 922 from my bank box Friday to do my quarterly winding and oohing and ahhhing and thought I would post a picture or two taken prior to its' return today.
I have had it about 15 years and wind it 4 times yearly (quarterly) and allow it to run down in 4 positions. I oooh and ahhhh accordingly.
Still spot on timing.
Hamilton's $700 presentation watch in the 1920's......about $9800 in todays USD. No inscription on this one, though.
year: Dec. 1927..... 18kt gold case, Sterling Silver dial, 18kt solid gold applied numbers, solid gold hands, solid gold train, 23j, adj 5 positions and to heat, cold, & isochronism. Gorgeously finished pristine movement.
Many different incarnations even some in Platinum.
Post them if you got them.
