Has anyone heard of these or seen one before?

This watch belonged to my grandfather and doesn't look to have been worn at all. It has 'Tradition' and 'Lunastar' on the dial. A search has been of little help, so hoping someone might recognise the brand and know of any history associated with it. It's an automatic, but I have not had the back off to check the movement.
    Looks to be 1970's?

Definitely a 1970s watch. Tradition was a brand of Reusser SA in Switzerland and also of Sears in the USA. Probably the former if the watch was in Australia.

Not sure what it is, but she's in great shape for a 70's model.

I have never seen this make/brand before.

The design reminds of a vintage seiko 5 though...

Here in Canada, Tradition was a Sears "house" brand. Inexpensive, yet robust, with Swiss movements. I owned two in the 70's, both of which I'd love to have back.

    Hi!

Surely 1970s and on a nice and rare NSA 3-row bracelet.
    Best regards, Mike

Nice Alarm watch. Is it working? I would give it a shine and a nice leather band and wear it.

Seems that this one is made by Reuss, but the logo and writing on the Seventies item above look quite different. So maybe the Seventies watch is the Sears-brand, then?

The sears writing style can be seen here too: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/mor...ge-507668.html
I like its smooth 70s look very much

Thanks - I love the look too. I think the case is gold plated and in very good unscratched external condition except for 2 points where the plating is damaged, though a buff of the case would only make it better. The crystal is plastic, which is a good thing and unscratched.
I assume that my watch, according to my research last night, is probably an AS1475 or AS1930 movement (which don't have dates). I don't have the tools to open it (yet). It still works and I am presently testing since an hour ago how accurate and for how long. It is presently force fitted though with a reasonable result (someone went to town with the pliers) with a flexible Spidel gold colored bracelet but I think a strap may look better on this one.
If all goes well I shall service it, seeing it belonged to my late grandfather who passed away 7 years ago and I really don't know when the last service was done. The alarm works but is short, only around 5 seconds. I reckon the spring has gone. If it will be cheap I will have it fixed during the service, else forget it. Its not something I would count on .

The positions of the crowns make it certain that there will be an AS 1475 inside. Exactly at 2:00 and 4:00 would be Ronda and it is too old to have a Poljot copy of the AS 1475.
