    well here you go!

    i didn't do this, by the way. so please don't direct any steaming fountains of bile my direction. i wish the crafters would leave the watch parts alone.

    Ironically, this movement looks more "authentic" then the ones seen in the last couple of "Is this an authentic Omega" threads....

    Seriously though, if they're going to use a watch movement as ornamentation, shouldn't they clean it first? And they could have at least hollowed out the stone to give the impression of a true mount...this just looks like some 12 year old hot-glued the movment to the rock!

    It <is> possible to make nice Steampunk stuff. Sadly, this isn't it.

    Hah -- you are so funny, AbslomRob! And accurate re the "is this an authentic Omega" posts recently. My first reaction to the photo above was, in actuality --- "shocking" followed by "hmmmm, perhaps a fine example of Swiss bling." [Kidding, really, I was in shock, forgive me....].
