Very nice. The box is interesting in that there are only a couple items (ping pong balls comes to mind) that are still made with celluloid. It is extremely flammable. I have many guitar picks made from this material, and touched one with a match when I first heard about it. It was entirely consumed in about 1 second, with quite an energetic burn!
Pink Floyd. Dark side of the moon. Side one, track four.

Ohh yeah! Lovely stepped case deco piece

This was before they managed to produce square/rectangular movements, but needed to compete with the likes of the Gruen Quadron, so makers in this period used steps on the sides of the cases to 'de-emphasise' the use of a round movement. Of course, now it is a feature to be enjoyed (rather than a sign of being a little technically behind) and so very stylish.

I especially like the secometer! Congratulations, a special piece to be very proud of

A very fine distinctive example. I have many Bulova and other w.w. and box combos but not equal to this President.Excepting 1920s Paladin and 50th Gruen p.w. big jewelry boxes this gold trimmed embossed leather from Denmark is best I have seen for Gruen. Large man size. Would like to know age to match proper w.w. for it.

Very nice. The 1934-1935 Wandering second is very sought after. I am a big fan of Bulova President models and have four in my collection from 1927 to 1940. The only one I have with a box is the 1927. They always feature excellent movements.

The movement in yours should be a 21j 10AN. I think 6 adjustments in this era.

An excellent piece. Thanks for sharing.
