Can't help you with the info you are looking for. ....BUT sweet Roamer! Picked up locally too. dang. I'm also suspect that the bezel ring is potentially solid gold.

Trim likely can help you out.

All that I know is based on the hard work and writing of others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. To quote Newton, "If I have seen farther it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."

So, anyway - the case is a Type I Morf case. The patents were patented and licensed in the 1941.

I actually have one very similar with the same dial and another 5 or so, with this movement. I have not put them on my site though.

Well, I just took some snaps for you. These are all 364 powered.

Here you can see, on the right a later one, on the left, the first - probably early 40s, the copper elements of the dial suggest an early date. Yours has the later hands and no copper elements, which was why I suggest mid 40s.

Early 40s back - notice, no patent numbers!

To validate the dates, these German issued WWII models, all with MST364 movements (note, obviously the 3 on the left)
