    Help with Favre-Leuba Soldiers Watch 781 - information?

    I purchased this "watch" at a flea market and want to give it to my son. I would like to find a crown to replace the missing one as well as any information you can give me regarding this watch. It has rounded glass on both front and back and appears to be made of brass? Any information would be greatly appreciated. photos attached.

    A trademark "Soldiers Watch 781", was registered to an Eberhard & Cie. in 1951. The movement, signed by Favre-Leuba, is IMO not original to this piece- it's a typical wristwatch movement, which might as well be period-correct, but certainly not correct in terms of the manufacturer.
