Help figure out what this watch is

Hey, I found this watch and can't find any information on it. It's a Terramar but that's about all I know.I find it interesting that it has Tel Aviv on the bezel was this a common thing in the time of this watch. Also if anyone noes what this is then how much would it be worth

Welcome to the forum. It looks like a 1960's watch with a cities bezel. It probably has a 17 jewel hand wind housed in a chrome plated case. It was a moderately priced design sold by several companies back then. We don't give valuations here. Check Ebay for similar watches.

A faux diver with little water resistance and as has been said, in a chrome case, a fashion watch of the day. Probably houses an EB pin pallet movement? It looks to be in good condition and is a collectable/wearable vintage piece.

Terramar is listed as having been made by Swiss company Brac and is likely to have one of their pin pallet movements inside. Without pictures of the movement we can't say more, other than to agree with @v8chrono's general assessment above.

    Regards.

Harsh. "Guaranteed 5ATM". Back in the day folks would definitely take that snorkelling.

Mind you, that 5ATM water resistance would not have lasted past the first service interval. And I agree about the pin-pallet. Hopefully it's one of those jewelled-up versions (lack of jewel count makes that unlikely), as its a good-looking watch that deserves to be serviced and worn.

I found several images of the dive bezel version of that watch. So it came in at least two versions. And one reference that it uses a movement marked 17 jewel Tenor Swiss Watch Ltd Unadjusted. None of dial pictures have jewel count included.

When I say I found this I mean that I found this for sale it's $200 would that be reasonable I really don't know much about this watch but there's
something about it. Also, the reason I asked if having Tel Aviv is common on watches of this era is because my sister is moving there and
it would be cool to just turn it to Tel Aviv.

    Thanks for all the replies.

Re: Help figure out what this watch is

It's just a standard chrome-plated diver-style watch from the 1960s. Low quality but decent condition. $200 is a lot to pay for a watch that isn't anything special, but sometimes we just find a watch that is appealing to us. My concern, however, is that you might end up with a watch that does not run well or keep good time, and it might not be easy to find a watchmaker willing to service it, since it's sort of a "disposable" watch.

I don't think you will find another watch with that city on the bezel. You have to decide how important it is to have Tel Aviv on the bezel. The watch is probably over 50 years old and appears to be in nice condition. If you were to wear it the price of a service would have to be factored in.
