According to the Ronda staff catalogue, they both use the same staff so most likely
the same balance assembly and I'd bet the same roller....

So you want to swap the balance complete including the balance cock of a cal. 75?
I know that the balance staff of the 150MN is interchangable with that of a 75. Whether the balance complete and balance cock are also interchangable I don't know for sure, probably yes.

Doesn't look like the balance cock is interchangeable. Keep in mind that these movements are of different size... The 75 is a 11.5''' movement, while the 150 is 10.25''' , so the balance cock from the Movado 75 simply wouldn't fit in a 150, I think.

Ah ok thanks for that, I didn't actually compare the specs, just reasoning. Bummer, that would have made it a lot easier.
It can be done though. Remove the balance staff and hairspring from that of the 75 and attach it to the balance cock of the 150MN.

    According to Ranfft:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Movado 75

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Movado 150MN

...they both require the same balance staff (U972 in the Flume catalogue). This is made possible by the fact that, although they are different in diameter, they have the same movement thickness. Bear in mind, though, that the balances may well be of different sizes.

Re: Help finding balance for Movado 150mn

thanks for the help. all i actually need is the roller so if any of the other parts will work this will be a bonus. i did look at Ranfft and saw that the balance staffs were the same but could not find a definitive answer anywhere as to whether any of the other parts were the same. cousinsuk sells a complete balance for a cal.75 but not for a cal.150. as i cannot get a roller separately this is my only option.

Best fit lists balance complete for both these calibers as 440 so they should be a direct swap. Do both have a Breguet spring?
