    Help identify hallmarks

These are from a ladies Girard perregaux solid 9ct gold watch, the watch strap is also 9ct solid gold and stamped 375 and NK which directs it to being London maker, does anyone know what these stamps are and country etc? (not the 9 .375 stamps) also the bit that looks like s3s what is that?

9 Karat / 0.375 gold / 1958 / London, more or less repeating what you have said, except for the year.

S ... S , S & S ??? In my opinion, too badly engraved to be an original makers mark etc.

So did I. Indeed, when looking at that, without this as a reference:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Girard-Perregaux 61U (AS 973)

...I would have thought that the whole thing was a blatant fake too. Even then, it looks as if the "Girard" is engraved but the "-Perregaux" looks as if applied post hoc via felt tip pen.....!!

It looks like someone has high lighted the engraving with a felt tip pen!

May be try a bit of thinners on a cotton bud and see if you can wipe off the' swiss' markings or '17 jewels' as these look to be properly engraved
