Hello and welcome to the forum.

That looks like a nice mid-century, manual-wind Bulova in a solid 14K case. Most of the ones you come across are rolled gold plate so it's nice to have one that was a bit more up scale.

Unfortunately, vintage women's watches don't hold much value on the second-hand market. Any value will be in the melt value of the gold. Weigh it without the movement and do the math. That will give you the best approximation as to value.

Hi hello thanks for the warm welcome. That’s a great help thanks. I wasn’t sure if it need insuring, or repairing and wearing so thanks that’s helpful to know. It’s got sentimental value so I might get it working and wear it for special occasions.

If it's a family piece with sentimental value, then it would be probably be worth much more to you as an heirloom and something you could pass down, than whatever the monetary value would be.

Since it's a simple time-only movement, you shouldn't have any problem finding a watchmaker to perform a service on it. With luck, nothing will be broken and it will be a straight-forward job to clean and lubricate it, and it shouldn't be too pricey.

After that, wear it and enjoy it and the memories it brings.

N2 on the back is the date code for 1972. From there is was just looking through the mybulova archives.

    Picture from mybulova.

Agree with Gregoire that it's worth fixing and wearing. Always a shame when a watch gets scrapped for gold content, especially one is as good condition as this one.
