    Help identifying Bucherer pocket watch

My wife bought me a pocket watch for our anniversary and I would like to know more about it. I can’t seem to find anything on this model online or find a picture of one similar. Any help is appreciated.

That's a lovely pocket chronograph. There wouldn't be any particular model name.

The movement appears to be a Valjoux chronograph of some type. Similar to a mono pusher Valjoux 22, but modified for the pocket watch geometry, with the pusher underneath the crown. Is there a small number that you can read underneath the rapidly oscillating balance wheel? How does it operate? There seems to be a button in the crown, is that the chronograph reset? Or is the single chronograph button for start, stop, and reset?

Edit: more like a Valjoux 65, but I still don't think that's exactly right.

Yes the number is 10653. The push button is the stop watch start stop reset and the button to the right is the stopwatch lock.

Those features do sound like a Valjoux 65, which was also used by Eberhard in many of their chronographs.

Can’t go wrong with solid 14k gold case either! Very nice watch mate.
