Help identifying my new vintage Hamilton

    Hi all.
What a great forum this !
I've lost many pleasant hours down the rabbit hole here - thanks !
I jut picked up a very nice vintage Hamilton and wonder if anyone know model / year please ?
It's in great shape and keeps good time ( 1 minute / day ) and has original dial patina.Name: Hamilton_dress.JPG

It was sold to me as possibly being from the 1930s but I'm thinking more like 1950s.
I haven't had the courage to open it yet.

    Thanks all, cheers....dave.

    dfee...Hello!

Very good looking Talbot...it seems to have aged gracefully.

As I recall, Hamilton used solid 18K Gold for their numerals...pretty special then / it would be a MAJOR selling-point now!

Most folks who seem to know a bit about what they're talking about (!) will tell you that Hamilton's technology & materials were as good--or better--than any Company in the World...and they were--and are--correct.

    Nice find...enjoy. Michael.

Thanks so much for the help identifying my new girlfriend !

A bit of a steal for USD $87 I believe.....

The patina on the dial just tells a story of bygone elegance.

I have another Hamilton ( another recent acquisition ) I'll drag out and display on here soon.

    Thanks again everyone, cheers....dave.

The stylized "H" logo tell you immediately that this can't be a 30s watch because Hamilton started using that logo around 1957.

Here's some more good information on the 60s Talbot. There's a lot more good information on Hamilton watches there, take a look when you get a chance.
