    Help identifying Vintage Omega

    Hi,

I need some help to identify this model. Is it worth anything? How old may it be?
Fun to know a little history about the model.

    Thanks in advance,
    Linus

    Re: Help identifying Vintage Omega

    Hi and welcome.

It looks to be a mid 1960s Seamaster, but without the model number it's hard to know the exact one. If you can remove the back, you will find the model number engraved on the inside of the steel case back. This model can then be researched at the Omega database.

On the movement itself, you will find both the movement calibre number and a longer serial number. The serial number can be looked up in this database and it will give you a fairly accurate date of manufacture.

    Hi!

Thanks for the reply. I will remove the caseback and look up all the numbers.

    Cheers
