    Help Identifying Watch

    Hey everyone I havent been on in a while but I picked this watch up and I know the movement is an AS 1906 25 jewel automatic but I cant find anything on the " Dynasty" brand Im assuming it is just a generic company from the 70's but any info would be great Thanks

    Hmmm...don't know that name. All I found was a local jeweler in Metairie, LA named Dynasty Watches & Jewelry. I suppose it's possible your watch could be a house brand from that store - - or not.

    Dr. Ranfft's example AS 1906 is from 1970. The "T" for tritium lume is also from this general period. At that time there were a lot of Swiss assemblers, most of which have long since vanished. Dynasty may have been one of them or, more likely, a brand sold by one of them.

    Dynasty as brand for watches is a registered trademark of Endura AG (Endura SA) (Endura Ltd), Chemin des Tourelles 17, 2400 Le Locle, Switzerland, part of the Swatch Group.
