    Help identifying watch from photo

Gents, I have another identification challenge for you. This laughably crappy photo is from the seller of this watch, so I know no more than you do at this point. It looks vintage, but that is it. Any idea of the make based on the logo or font? Trying to determine if it's worth investing my time and money to get.

    Thanks

Frankly, from that pic, and with no other info it could be any number of watches including a plethora of cheap off-brand quartzies. Is the seller not even able to tell you the brand name and what is written on the dial/caseback, and whether it's mechanical or quartz, ie, does it take a battery? Generally these are not tasks for which a government research grant is required. I get the feeling they may not be a strong contender for the title of "Salesperson of the Year".

However, just from general appearance and the apparent big logo one possiblility is an Orient. I'd say the watch is fairly modern, no older than the 1990s. That crown/stem does appear to be a long way out - perhaps too far.

Thanks all. I agree it could be nothing more than a modern quartz. I have asked the seller for more info, but was told he wouldn't be on site of the estate sale until next week, so I need to contact him then. Will let you know what he says. I am receiving photos today from another sale that might be more worth our time.
