    Help IDing this JLC movement

    Hey all,

I posted this in the JLC section, but haven't received a response in over 5 hours. Hopefully you all can help, as I need to move soon.

With this being my first foray into JLC, I need some guidance.

All the Calibre 885 movements I've seen on the web are stamped "K885"

    Mine is stamped "885"

What gives? Is this a fake?

    Hi
a 'K' at the beginning means the movement has 'Kif' Shock protection.
Yours must be an earlier movement

    Hardly a "hero".
    But thanks for saying "thanks"
