Help with information on Didisheim stopwatch

Hello. I am new to the forum and joined to hopefully call upon some people's wisdom when I come across things outside of my realm of knowledge. I recently picked up a non working watch and was hoping someone would be able to provide me with some information on it. It is a Didisheim "The Racer" non-magnetic stopwatch. It is 13J, adjusted 2 positions, and has a production # of 61236. Any info would be very much appreciated. These watches seem to be pretty rare, is that true?

    Thank you,

A picture is worth 1000 words...

Stopwatches are not as widely collected as wristwatches or pocketwatches. So less is known. 13j and 2 pos sounds like a high end model though.

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
