Confused Help >>> Longines Ultronic >>>

    Hi there,

Recently got a Longines Ultronic in impeccable condition.

Since this is an ELECTRIC tuning fork watch I heard the battery lasts only about 1 year if lucky.

If that is the case, then I would like to interrupt the battery power while Im rotating between watches.

Im concerned though: will pulling the crown out NOT save battery (it seems to stop the second hand). I've heard this could damage the movement.

    Here's some pics:

That isn't the point. If the battery stays in beyond its service life, then it will leak and ruin your watch. So you may as well leave it running.

But the service life is until 2013!

    Nevermind.

I asked an expert and it seems that it is ok to interrupt the power.
