    Help me ID eBay pickup

Got this little Seiko off eBay, despite its small size (33mm) I really like it on the wrist.
Can anyone give me some history? Can't find much detail on the web...Name: uploadfromtaptalk1432595839591.jpg

YOu want to search for the model and dial codes...I can't make out the dial one (it's the code at the bottom under the 6), but the caseback model is 7N01 - 6370. 7N01 is the movement code; it indicates a quartz 7N01 inside.

Thanks mate. Yer I have done a bit of research using the model number, but most of the responses were in Japanese. I'm really just curious as to why the Seiko logo is at the bottom of the dial and spirit at the top. Haven't seen that before. Besides that its just a good, cheap, vintagey quartz

It is hardly a vintage watch, a retro style at best. In Seiko watches the first digit of serial is the last digit of the year (xxx2). 7Nxx-series started early 90's. This is either from 1992, 2002 or 2012. This is most likely from 2002. Very basic watch. Never seen this Spirit model before, maybe not marketed to Europe at all.

Fair enough. Might see what the affordables forum can make of it.

I'm guessing it was some kind of presentation or promotional watch and the 'SPIRIT' had something to do with that and Seiko branded the watch over the 6 tomato room for the 'client'. Also guessing its from 1992 but it could be 2002? I doubt its from the early 80's but its possible.

I'd say 2002 as the movement is made much in plastic. I believer the original 7N01A movement has metal wheels as the newer 7N01D has some plastic wheels.
