It sure looks like a Recta 19''' movement, for example bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Recta B

But there are some obvious differences. I guess yours could be a bit older.

a very nice upper class finsh. I like he bridgs who allows easily to change the spring as well as leverwheel capstones, a steel lever bridge etc .nice, nice. Of course its not a physical chronometer but a movement with the appropriate accuracy to get the term "Chronometre".

    A ad from 1920

Charles-Alcide Vaucher (also: Alcide-Charles) was born on May 27, 1860. He founded with Antoine Muller
in 1897 in Biel the company "Muller & Vaucher" which in 1898 was renamed "Recta SA". Alcide married
Marthe Elise Borel (1860-1952), 4 children were born from this marriage. Maurice Vaucher became
parish priest, but also director of Recta SA.
From 1933 to 1957 he was president of Féderation Horlogère Suisse. His brother André Vaucher became
    also director of Recta SA

Founded in 1897 in Biel by Antoine Muller and Alcide Vaucher under the name "Muller & Vaucher"
which was renamed "Recta SA" in 1898. The company produced high-quality pocket watches
u.a. also chronometer with observatory certificate. RECTA promoted the Geneva Seal of Approval
(Poinçon de Genève), the seal of quality issued by the Geneva Bureau of the Inspectorate of Geneva
for its watches, and participated in several chronometer competitions at the Neuchâtel Observatory.
From 1915, the company manufactured among other things compasses then still in a pocket watch case.
In 1941, Recta developed the world famous Liquid Compass, known as the DP Model, used by the
Swiss Army, which is still used by armies around the world today, confirming its reputation for excellence.
In the forties, the company was managed by the Vaucher family and also made wristwatches, stoppers,
compasses and photographic items. Today, Recta no longer has any watches in its product range, just
compasses of various kinds. Recta is now part of the watch and compass manufacturer Suunto in Finland,
where the manufacture of compasses for Recta takes place.

    regards enrico
