Help please - Identify this vintage pocket watch

This watch used to belong to my great-grandfather. I can not find any indications of the brand and know nothing about movements so here's some pics.
The inner lid has the year 1890 engraved.
    Thanks for any help.

Kochman gives B & Co. in laurel leaves (its an exact match) as J.J.Badollet & Co. of Geneva. Hope that helps.

And not only the case is by Badollet but also the movement. The rampant lion holding a snake (in the shield, on the movement) is their hallmark too. According to Mikrolisk, the brand was first registered in 1887 so this is an early example of their watches - I would have guessed 1890 to 1910 (on the basis of Swiss lever movement, crown wound but pin set).

To my knowledge this lion in shield holding snake and facing left is 'Charles Henri Meylan' mark, same mark facing right is 'Capt'.

So, what does the 0.585 and the 2 goofy looking rodents signify?

Re: Help please - Identify this vintage pocket watch

Thank you Enrico for the correction, I see it now also in mikrolisk that the right-wards lion is 'Badollet'.

So in this case since it has left siding lion, is this a 'Meylan'?

Re: Help please - Identify this vintage pocket watch

The 0.585 signifies 14K gold (0.585=14/24 and 24K is pure gold). The lion still interest me - I searched for "Badollet" on Mikrolisk and came up with the left facing lion in a circle for this brand:

Mikrolisk - The horological trade mark index

...plus also right facing lions in shields. The left facing lion in a shield for Meylan is, however, an even better match. I wonder whether the two were ever somehow interrelated. As it stands, the evidence for either as movement maker is a little equivocal to my mind.

Re: Help please - Identify this vintage pocket watch

Thanks for helping understand the origins of this watch. The year on the watch is 1890. What is the significance of the two rabbit like creatures? Also, is this a collectors item or a run of the mill watch for the period?
