Help Please - Trying to identify model and date of Zenith Watch

I have recently inherited the above watch and am trying to find out some information about it.

I believe it is from the Late 60s or early 70's but even after sending it to Zenith they have not been able to provide any information except for a quote for a service and to replace the glass (which seems fine to me.

It has the original crown and is pictured next to a 2p piece.

Any information or guidance on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

    Thx

Welcome David. Hartmut - who co-moderates this forum - knows a lot about Zeniths and I'm sure he'll be able to give you some information in due course.

Please don't PM me to ask for a valuation - I won't attempt one.

Welcome to the Vintage forum from me. The watch is from the 1970s (as shown by the logo - post-1972 and I don't think it's from the 1980s) and is probably a ladies' model. The most likely calibre inside, if in house, is the Cal. 1731:

...although this was not made after 1969 (there is always the possibility of old stock being used up). However, Zenith started using generic movements from 1975 onwards for a while and this may be one of them. In which case, I'd favour that it's a Peseux 7001 which I have rarely seen in Zeniths.

What are the exact numbers on the case back? The last three should code for the movement.
