Question Help with Rado Silver Stag bracelet

Hello everyone, please excuse my newness.

I just picked up my first automatic watch off ebay...Probably payed too much, but I really liked the looks of this guy and I suppose I owed myself a present.

My only problem is I can't find much information about the line, specifically the band lug size, and of course the seller didn't offer it in the description and I'd like to have a nice stainless band ready to go when my new watch comes in.

So can anyone help a new guy please? A good guess on the lug size here or maybe you have one?

    Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I can't help you, but we have one or two members who are very knowledgeable about Rado who may be able to when they next look in.

Regardless the yellow dial was irresistible.

Hello and welcome. I wouldn't say franken. Except for the strap I would say most or all of that watch is a Stag or Silver Stag. Fiddled with? Yes. The dial is refinished and the hands are way too shiny. The case has been nicely refinished; they put the brushed finish back on the top surface and they kept most of the edges sharpish. I have never had any of the Stag models but they come on tapered SK bracelets like the one James A showed you. I can't say for sure but I think that is a 24mm wide SK that tapers to 16 or 18mm at the clasp. I would also guess that the distance between the lugs is 20mm.
The sizes are just an educated guess. Please don't run out and buy a bracelet that size until you've had a chance to measure the watch. With these watches Rado tended to have the bracelet as wide as outside dimension of the lugs.the

Also, the two sets of reference numbers mean it was likely made around 1973-74.

Is the old reference on that 12112?

If so, I am wrong and it is a franken. Ref 12112 is a gazelle model.

Now I'm wondering if the movement will even match the caseback lol

Also any idea what the reference numbers on a stag model should be? Mikes website says the database is incomplete?

    Thanks
