Help repairing a watch with sentimental value

Hey guys, i've been reading this forum (more specifically the vintage one) for almost 2 1/2 years...since I got the watch bug. And on the advice of some of the posters I bought The Complete Price Guide to Watches, just so I could learn a thing or two about them. Anyway, I need some advice or recommendations on where I can send a cal 286 omega to get pretty much rebuilt.

Watch was a gift from my grandmother to my uncle, my uncle not being very attached to material things at the time beat the crap out of the watch, using it at work and god knows where else. Somehow my mom came into possession of the watch and I found it. I really want to get it fixed and give it back to my uncle as a gift. I know that IF it can be fixed the cost of repair will likely be more than the watch itself is worth, but you cant put a price on sentimental value and I really want to do all I can to get it back into working shape.

The watch needs a new crystal, I have the back (its not in the pictures), some heavy cleaning and repair on the movement.

    Any advice?
    Attached are some pictures.

If you're in the US, Dalton Toledo in Los Angeles is often recommended. He is a member of the forum as well.
