    Help: Vintage Omega Constellation

Hello all! I saw this piece in a vintage watch shop and was quoted approximately USD$650. I have no experience at all with vintage Omegas thus have no idea if this is a good deal. According to seller, it is from 1960, movement, case & crystal are all original, and is serviced & working. No idea how to check the movement though.

Anyone able to help do a check of the lousy photos I've tried taking to determine if it's worth to buy? If anyone is able to identify model number it will be even more awesome!

    Much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Thanks buddy! I honestly did not know of the MOY test until you mentioned it. The star could actually be moved? Is that a big issue? Sorry for sounding really noob here. Does those issues you pointed out affects the value a lot? I also noticed that the words "Swiss Made" seems pretty close to each other, is that normal?

I tend to think it's redial. That would explain why is the star misplaced
Never seen such thick crosshair lines too

I see. Thanks for your input man. I guess I'll just look around some more instead of jumping on this. Appreciate it.

The photos are not good enough to give you any useful information. You need to move the hands so they are not blocking all of the printing. Then take high resolution photos. Also, take photos from various angles, including the back. Then you might want to give more information, e.g. is the watch gold or stainless. Also, have the case opened and take photos of the movement and the inside of the case-back. The price is excellent.
