    I suspect its a Waltham 'Depollier' watch circa 1917/18.

    And if so yes its a 'nice' piece.

    Nothing to do with 'drivers' watch.

    Just the beginning of the wristwatch

    Need pictures as you first say crown was at '12', now you say at '3', like the second watch I posted.

    That style is the most easiest to find. A Lepine movement in a standard wristwatch case

    Here you go.
    A nice Waltham using a Lepine movement. I suspect circa 1917. Crown all look original.
