    Welcome to Watchuseek!

Westclox was a later name of the Western Clock Company which originated in the late 19th century. The Westclox brand was merged with other companies and re-sold several times over the past century. Large numbers of Westclox branded relatively inexpensive pocket and wrist watches as well as alarm and other kinds of clocks were made. Most of their watches fall into an interesting collector niche called "Dollar Watches". Westclox models like Big Ben alarm clocks, Wrist Ben wristwatches and Pocket Ben pocketwatches are among those that attract collectors. Without a picture it will be impossible to provide any information about the date of your watch.

Here are a couple of links to an interesting website with information about timekeepers from the Westclox brand. Post a picture when you get a chance.

It's a quartz, so probably anywhere from 80's on up.
