    Help would be appreciated

I recently acquired a pocket watch that belonged to my great grandmother. I don't know anything about it other than what I can see. It says "splendor" and "Swiss made" on it. I don't know how old it is or even if it's old at all. It makes a ticking noise and the hands move sometimes but only of its lying horizontally and still then not always. There is a dial on the top. Does anyone have any guess as to what I would need to repair it and how much it would cost? Would a good cleaning suffice or do you think something more is wrong?

A set of pictures is worth a thousand words...
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
