    It may be possible for someone to identify it from a picture of the dial side if they could see that. Also, could you measure the diameter and thickness (height) of the movement in millimeters?

    Thickness is 5,3mm (I am talking about movement only) ...
    Movement diameter is 41,8mm (41,78 mm more precise)

    Here is the picture of movement from dial side:

    Well, my 1949 Catalogue Officiel Des Pieces de Rhabillage Pour Montres Suisses gives 18.5''' as 41.70mm; and 18''' as 40.40mm. As its 41.78, I think 18.5''' is nearer.

    This Watch Size Table shows size 14 = 41.49mm = 18.56'''

    I measure again and it says 41,74mm

    There is no serial number nowhere on mechanism and I wonder how to date it.... I found only one watch with same mechanism (movement) on the web:

    Its growing!

    Ligne: Facts, Discussion Forum, and Encyclopedia Article 1 mm = 0.443296 ligne;

    41.74 x 0.443296 = 18.503175 - or 18.5'''
