    Henri Duvoisin>>>>>

was completely unknown to me, and certainly for many of you too. I was lucky to buy it and I'm very happy. It is in a fantastic condition. It is 33 mm and is made about 1950. Henri Duvoisin still produce watches.

Nice watch, nice movement. When I first saw that, I thought "Valjoux" - and was then surprised to see that there is an Adolf Schild movement inside. It must be something from the Cal. 1221 family:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: AS 1221

Ranfft doesn't list a version with full calendar and moonphase so either it's an example of his database not being quite complete or the module was made specifically for H. Duvoisin by themselves or another maker (e.g. Dubois-Depraz who specialise in that sort of thing).

I have now submitted it to a watchmaker to service it at a cost of 250 euros. I think this is worth doing because I think this has not been serviced in 60 years. Unfortunately, it will take until August before I get it back. He has a lot to do. But those who wait for something good .......

250 Euros for a full calendar/moonphase watch in that condition sounds like a decent price to me.
