If anyone has more information on this watch and the brand, I would love to hear it. Also, I was wondering if it might be worth restoring at all (or if it is just of too little value). If it is worthwhile, is there a particular place that might specialize in watch repair for a watch of this company and age?

Thank you!

Hi there,

Henry Moser was a famous person, an as watch brand famous enough to be exhumed these days for high end watches. Google will tell you lots about him and his brand. Moreover your watch appears to be in excellent condition regarding its age. The red 12 is mainly met on the earliest wrist watches (around 1910). It should draw attention to the fact that the 12 is no longer located at the crown, als usual for open face pocket watches. These facts make your watch rather collectable, and it is worth anyway to be restored.

Regards, Roland Ranfft
