Heuer 73321 - Help with authenticity

    Hi all,

Been perusing the site for a while, but this is my first post. I'm newer to the vintage watch world and have been looking for a vintage panda chronograph for a little while, and I came across this one for sale. Per the seller, it's a Heuer 73321 with a Valjoux 7732, and the case has been polished but everything else (hands, dial, etc.) is original. I've tried to research using known sources (OnTheDash etc.) and more general image searching but cannot seem to find another example with this dial/hand/movement combination. My natural inclination is to assume this is not original/correct, but I was hoping to get some insight before passing. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm no expert on this model, but it's definitely unusual (but not impossible) to have lumed hands and an un-lumed dial. Is the movement a cal 7732, or 7733? Not that it matters.

Thanks for your reply. The seller said 7732, though the OnTheDash reference chart indicates it should be a 7733. I zoomed in on the photo of the movement, and it does seem to say 7733.

There is probably such a thing as a Valjoux 7732, but I don't think I've ever seen one.

The heuer font seems wrong , it is normally written with much thinner letters

    Good evening

The watch look really nice, but i think someone just put case, movement and dial together. The movement just don't match in all this, the glass also is too new even if was polished. I hope i am wrong, but i will advice you the same like the other users to stay away.

    Kind regards

Re: Heuer 73321 - Help with authenticity

At first i though it was a Hamilton dial from a poor man's Heuer with a the hamilton name changed into Heuer. But it says tachymeter and i cannot find a vintage hamilton one which says tachymeter.
I have no clue about what kind of dial it is. Only the Heuer part seems incorrect on it,

    Hands are not correct.

Case appears to be stainless steel and the caseback says stainless steel back which would impy the case would be chrome. Both original Heuer but no match together i think.

    Definitely a frankenwatch.
